Reliable Load Tester 1.7 is a load testing tool that automates load and stress testing of Internet / Intranet sites and services. The tool supports two modes. In one, you can submit a predefined number of HTTP GET requests to the target site. In the other mode, you can fire off pre-specified HTTP Get requests over a defined time period of seconds, minutes, hours, etc. It is possible to create a situation where several concurrent users are firing off requests on concurrent connections. Specific delays could be introduced between requests to simulate actual use conditions. Responses generated for every HTTP request could be recorded and CSV file generated for the same. Page load and application responses also can be assessed. The program will persist with the latest log file path specified. One of the major concerns with a website is, if it will be able to cope with traffic load that arrives at the site.

The interface offered is simple. For the testers or even developers the setting up of the tool should be no issue at all. Setting of testing mode, number of users simulated, delay between requests, number of requests being submitted are some of the things you can set. There are a couple of settings about log files. “Log HTTP responses to a file” and “automatically open log file” are two settings available. When you have a website and there is a significant number of visitors are arriving at the site, it essential to make sure they do not have any problems. In addition to this, the application permits logging of HTTP responses generated by the tested URI to CSV (Comma Separated Values) files and automatically persists most recently used log directory path.
